In early spring, badgers can be heard singing in the Shire forests. Or so them stories say. Come find out if it is true!

Date: Sunday April 19th

Time: 7:30PM UK ((2:30 servertime))

Location: Meet in Overhill (on time), then we'll start the search!

There are tales, there are. Tales of the singing badgers of the Shire forest, who greet the spring welcome with song every year. And once again, we will go try find them musical creatures. Not that we suppose that we will be lucky, no no. After all, them badgers can't exist, surely?

Welcome, hobbits! And bring berries for the badgers!

((OOC:

This is a music event set deep in the Bindbole Woods, so wear sturdy clothes! The area should be relatively safe from wild animals, but there are lots of bears on the way there.

This is a hobbit-preferred event, although if there are travellers from out of bounds who have good reason to be into hobbit spring traditions, then by all means come! Just remember to behave well and stay at the back, so you don’t block the view of the locals!

The songs are based on the works of Paul McCartney, which is rather wildly OOC for a Tolkien setting. But this may be fun nonetheless, not least since we tailor a story with new song lyrics! Story and song lyrics are performed in /say. Be aware of the LOTRO chat bug, so be sure to come close enough to the performers to catch what they say! ))
