Yule party succesful, Carlo gives staff a day off

By Peppy Bristlebrush   It has been a great party at the Bird and Baby Inn on Saturday. The food was of excellent quality (a trademark of Master Chucro) and the drinks were served by Miss Bilbeto with a smile and a polite bow (HER trademark). Among the guests were many minstrels and other bards, and the entertainment was of high standard. After giving us a preview of their Hobbit Heart Yule concert, Miss Amorey helped organise the music performances. Where needed she encouraged the more shy hobbits to perform as well and even the Bird and Baby Staff stepped forward to play some tunes for their guests. 

When counting the day's proceedings, Master Carlo had a broad smile on his face and declared that on December 26 the staff had earned themselves a day off! So there will be no yard party on that day, but Carlo will be there to serve drinks to customers, as he always did before he decided to hire help.
