Yule festival starts in Winter-home

The yearly Yule festival has begun! Unlike the Harvest festival, that was held in several locations, notably also at the party Tree in the Shire, the main event of the Yule festival will this year be held in Winter-home at the request of their mayor, Winston Goodnough. 

Special stablemasters provide the public with transport to and from Winter-home.

One word of advice: if you want to share the experience with some friends, you'd better travel as a fellowship, so as not to lose one another in the razzle-dazzle of the many people wanting to visit the festival.

Several activities have been planned for your pleasure, This year there is even a theatre-show which asks for participants from the public. Sponsored by theatre compagny G.L.O.B.E., they do several shows each day.

The presence of several beggars in Winter-home was subject to heated discussions already. The town guard would like to chase them out of town, while other, more compassionate citizens try to help them in their sorry state.

Indeed, how can there be eating contests co-existing next to hungry disadvantaged people? The correct way to deal with this ambivalent problem has yet to be found.
