Ye are all invited to the coronation
Ye are all invited on the 4th o'May, ter gather at 4 Myrtle Court in the homestead of Oakham, at 7:30 pm (2:30 Servertime)
There, we People of the Shire will host the Crowning of our next Shire May Queen!
An what a Crowning it will prove ter be!
So many of ye have made yer choices known, that tis hard ter tell who will wear the crown.
Termorra, we will see!
Master Peppy will provide music, along with the Bullroarers.
A hog is slowly roasting and them pies are in the oven ready!
Nominations for May Queen
Now we heads ter the voting!
As always, each hobbit gets two votes. One fer their May Queen Choice an the other fer the May king.
Ye sends these votes ter me via Quick post or just whisper it ter me if'n ye see's me round the Shire. Ah will keep the tally and all will be revealed on the 4th of May!
All voting must be in by the end of Green Dragon on the 3rd May, so ah can do the final round up.

A call to nominate
April brings with it many things, warmer days and refreshing showers. Them crops starting ter awaken in the fields, showing us the promise of grand food ter come.
It also brings the Search for our next Shire May Queen and king!
Each April ah asks ye fer the name of a lass and a lad who ye think might be our next May Queen and king. They must have been born in the Shire, as tradition states
Once ah has sum names - all checked mind ter make sure them folks are happy ter take part - then the fun begins.
That be the voting, where ye get ter choose. But more of that later.
First ah needs sum names!
We've had such lovely queens in the past...
Acorne, Amorey, Lina, Pycella, Dassa, Pennyroyal, Granmama,Demelsa, Diaspore and no forgetting our current Louisalotta!
Them kings have been few, but were grand in their ways.
First was Master Potty, then Simbo, Aodhfin, Matzo, Xobin and our current Arigo
A queen an king only holds the post once, fer this is the way o' the land. The post can be as little or as grand as ye wants. Tis just a bit of fun.
Ye have till the end of Green Dragon next friday (April 19th) ter get them names ter me.
And then ah'll explain about the vote.
The winners will be revealed at the Shire May Queen event ter be held on the 4th of May.
