Shire Games - Hiders and Seekers

Post date: Dec 20, 2010 7:20:0 PM

Dodero Dandywick,

The Shire Games Committee

As you all know, us hobbits tend to eat and drink a lot. We do not want to see hobbits that are unable to put a slice of pie in their mouth because they lack fitness. Therefore the People of the Shire have put together a Shire Games Committee. This committee will organize different Shire Games in order to stay fit.

The first game will be Hiders and Seekers.

The game rules are as follows:

An attendee is selected to be the seeker and has to count to 50 while eating a stack of pies. Meanwhile, the other attendees try to hide from the seeker. When the seeker has either finished eating the stack of pies, or is done counting to 50, he or she will start searching for the hiders. When a hider is found this hider becomes a seeker and will also have to try to find the remaining hiders. A game round ends when all hiders are found or the seekers give up searching for the remaining hiders. The seekers win when all hiders are found, the hiders win in all other cases.

The game of Hiders and Seekers is being held in Bramblebury, Tuesday 28 December, 19:00 ((/servertime)).

We hope to see you at the event. If you are unable to attend, have no sorrow, because more Shire Games will be held in the near future. They will be announced in the Gazette.
