Results of the December Fishing match

By Ponso Pondhopper  The December fishing trip was a great success with fifteen Catfish and thirty-three Dace landed, among other fine fish.    The overall winner was Miss Lina Willowwood, with three catfish and four dace. Second, Mister Simbo Rumblebelly (two of each) and in third place Mister Potty Nutbutter (one catfish and five dace). Specially-crafted fishing rods went to the runners up.Potty also won a bag of bait (wormy apples) and a good pack of tobacco for catching the most weeds!The full results have been lodged in the Shire Angling Club archives.Another trip is being planned for February, the location of which will be announced nearer the date, in the Gazette. A hearty thanks to all who took part.
