Thanks ta Master Kenghis & the Mardi Gras Party band fer a truly awesum January OAKS! 

        *cheers*

At the end of the evenin folks in the audience were sayin :

incredible music... exhilaratin concert ...splendid evenin...truly an awesum concert!

 the concert we in the audience created ~winks~ 

the All Requests concert which was the January OAKS!

On behalf of all in the audience whether they made a request or not...

we are most grateful fer a phenomenal OAKS...

Thank ya ta the Mardi Gras Party band ... ~sends warm hugs ta all of the band~

and very special thanks ta the incomparable Master Ken fer treatin each request as a unique chance ta create a treasured memory makin all of us that made a request feel so special ..

        ( a couple of us even had the honour of singin wit the band )

and fer organizin all the requests inta a truly fantastic concert!

Soon it be February....so time ta invite all ya folks back ta Oldfurlong fer the excitin adventure which will be the February OAKS!

I no ya folks have had enuff music by now... so no music this OAKS...

hehe... just kidding...  But this time there won't just be music.. oh no.. this February the OAKS will be a musical play!  Woohoo!

The fabulous "Ziehenden Musikanten / Wandering Musicians" will be coming to Oldfurlong...

Under the guidance of the playwright and author: the Lady Pandorradis of Belegaer...

And with the great help of the translator, my dear friend Kirgon Steelhammer...

The February OAKS presents...

"The Jailbreak of Chuck Spearwood"!!!

come see how his crew tries ta get their jailed captain out of jail...

I herd this be a hearty crew but still it was not so easy fer them  ~winks~

Remember I said "if you dare" earlier?      well... that's cuz ya mite find PIRATES in the audience... it do be a play about pirates after all... so who knows...

Mite be a bit of ale spilled but don't worry... there'll be plenty of grog fer everybodee...

Sum of them pirates mite take that as a challenge but be careful... I don't want ya folks ta get three sheets to the wind ( ol' nautical term fer completely drunk) and miss the play..   *giggles*
