Invitation - Farm-warming party

Aunt and niece, Tibba and Nimelia Stoutfoot, well-known faces in our Bramblebury community and the rest of South-Farthing have recently bought the farm...  They've kicked the bucket.. (that was old and had a hole in it and they threw it away) and have passed on... from Bramblebury to Bartunnel. No, that's not true: they still have their home, sweet homes in lovely Bramblebury! Their Bartunnel venture is a business venture, you see.And now they have decided it is time to invite you all to a party at their new place of business. So they made public the following:INVITATION

Miss Tibba and Nimelia Stoutfoot

cordially invite to

an evening of pie and music

in celebration of the

establishment of their family business

in the Southfarthing.

On Sunday, February 27th,

at 8 o'clock in the evening

on the Stoutfoot farm

in Bartunnel, 5 Harrow Road.

Pies (and biscuits!) aplenty!

Musical entertainment will be provided by the

Bramblebury Brambleber Berryramblers

band in burgundy garb.

You may notice the mix-up about the name of the band of musicians. The printshop could not make head nor tail of it anymore and copied a bit too literally Miss Tibba's crossed out attempts to write it correctly.
