Hobbity Yule Calendar 2024 is coming!

Help us spread some Yule cheer!
Yule is getting near, and it’s time to prepare the Hobbity Yule Calendar again! The Yule Calendar is a seasonal project that has been cheering up hobbit-minded folks from 2017 onwards. The calendar reveals one daily surprise from 1st to 24th December and helps everyone to get into a proper hobbity holiday mood. Even though it is a calendar made mostly by LOTRO players, anyone else is welcome to send their contributions as well!
The calendar will be published on this siteThis year’s collective entry: Yule sweets!. There, you can also see all previous calendars and get some inspiration for your own calendar entries.
Here are some examples of entries:
A Yule-themed picture, LOTRO screenshot, slideshow, drawing, or a video made by you
A Yule poem, story, or a song
An introduction to a local Yule tradition you’d like to share to other hobbits
Your favourite Yule recipe
Yule decoration ideas, riddles, games…
Feel free to get creative as well! Each entry is valuable, so don’t be shy to share your stuff.

This year’s collective entry: Yule sweets!
Each year, we have asked people to send pictures related to a specific yule thing so that we can make a joyful slideshow of them. This year, we would like you to send pictures of your local Yule sweets! It can be candies, chocolate, confectioneries… Each region has their own special holiday treats, so it will be interesting to drool at them see them! Here are the instructions for the pictures:
Please send high quality photos (1024×768 pixels at minimum).
Don’t add any effects/text to the photos.
When you send the photos, you can tell a bit about the sweets, their ingredients, background and so on, we might use it in the video as well.
For this collective entry, please send the sweet pictures to the address mentioned above by Sunday 15th December the very latest.
