By Rubellita Brandybuck   An alert hobbit has prevented the closure of the Shire Map and Cartography Centre in Oldfurlong! Master Speckles, the proprieter, is out of bounds, as you may know. Most likely he's collecting and making more fine maps. So it would be a shame if the museum would go in forclosure while he is away. But then the money he left behind for upkeep was all spent. This alert, but modest, hobbit donated some of her own coin to keep the museum open a bit longer. Those readers who want to contribute to keeping it open can contact the author of this article or any member of Master Speckles kinship, the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom.Inside the museum is a collection of some of the finest maps that Master Speckles could aquire on his travels, so not only of the Shire, but of more exotic places as well, such as elf places and that big dwarf cave they call Khazad-Dum.
