Fed Poets' Society Meeting of October
by Aerinbard Fallohide
“Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.”
-Edigar Allen Poetato
The air turns crisp, leaves chill golden, and mystery whispers in the woods. Autumn is a grand time for a
walk and a thought about what lies behind the shadows of the trees.
This month we will meet in Tuckborough at the doors of the Great Smials and from there wander the
nearby woods for chilly inspiration!
This month's suggested theme is : Mystery
The form we will try to employ is: Ballad
A Ballad is a poem that tells a story, and can even be sung.
If you would like to try your hand at writing, or if you have a favourite poem to share, or you would just
like to sit back and listen, join the Fed Poets' Society Meeting THURSDAY, October 10 at 7:30pm ((UK
Time, 2:30pm Servertime )). Share a hearty bite to eat and a feast of words! (And hopefully return with no
misadventures).
See you there!
