Fed Poets' Gathering September 2023

by Aerinbard Fallohide

“Always be a poet, even in prose.”

-Charles Baudelaire

Come join the Fed Poets out from under the sweltering summer sun and share a feast and also words!

Last month we braved the road through Buckland to picnic under the ancient Arnor ruins beside the ever flowing Brandywine. This month we will meet at the village well in Tuckborough for a short ride under the trees.

This month's suggested theme is : Harvest

The form we will try to employ is: Blank Verse: poetry with a regular metre but unrhymed lines

If you would like to try your hand at writing, or if you have a favourite poem to share, or you would just like to sit back and listen, join the Fed Poets' Society Meeting THURSDAY, September 14 at 7:30pm ((UK Time, 2:30pm Servertime)). If the weather does not favour us, we will converge on the Ivy Bush in Hobbiton.

Hope to see you there!

THURSDAY, September 14th (and every second Thursday of the month)
