A short history about fishing in Hobbiton, paraphrased from the knowledge of Bardoric Oatroot:
"Not long after the Hobbits in Hobbiton came in from tending their first fields, they looked in the river, and saw lots of tasty fish! What better (and relaxing!) way to supplement the diet than to go fishing! Lying on your back in the sun and getting a free meal from a long days nap? Perfect!
Noone would set foot in a boat upon the water - far too dangerous and the territory of those queer Bucklander folk - but safely from the shore a small band of anglers began to fish daily. They made many nice pies, and profited greatly from selling the fish in the markets at Michel Delving."
So bring ya best fishin' rod, an' a stylish fishin' hat - ya kin bring your friends too, long as they don't scare away all th' fish! There'lll be fabulous PRIZES fer winnings, but the main goal is ta have fun! And ta have some fish cakes.

The Golden Rules of Fishing!
Participants will be invited to a raid group in order to keep track of the fishes that are caught.
Before each round a certain group of fish will be announced as the goal to catch for that round
A horn will be blown to signal to start fishin'!
When a participant has caught the correct number and type of fish for that round, they should speak in the raid channel to indicate that they are done!
Only fish caught in the current round count toward your round totals! Please do not cheat, so that everyone can have a fair and fun time!
There may even be some bonus prizes awarded outside of the round goals.
