December Fishing Trip

During my many trips around the fishing holes of the Shire, I stumbled across a rare sight: A deep pool of fast flowing water, sitting on a gravel bottom and fed by spring water! An ideal spot for catfish. Sure enough, I could see catfish in good numbers feeing off the bottom through the crystal-clear water.Even so, the Shire Angling Club has been stocking the pool with juvenile catties over the last few weeks, and now we are ready for some serious fishing! Bring your rods and cookpans for a fishing trip and catfish bake. There will be a competition with the usual grand prizes, a bake off and picnic and of course, music, dancing and fireworks.No need to sign up, just turn up to Woodhall on Sunday 8th December at 7.30 pm (UK time - 2.30 pm Servertime)
