Hobbit band "the Greenbrambles" will play festive music on Bullroarer Took Day. Dress code is "wearing of the green"!

Date:

Time:

Location:

March 17th, 2013

7.30 ((GMT, 3.30 servertime))

Brockenborings, the Shire

Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took was the Hero of the Battle of the Greenfields. Each year hobbits commemorate those fallen in that fierce battle against the goblins of Mount Gram. That battle was almost single-handedly decided by Bullroarer Took, when he beheaded the Goblin King Golfimbul, whose head landed in a rabbit hole. The battle was decided and a new game invented!

For the third year in a row, the Greenbrambles will perform in honour of the Bullroarer. No better place to do this than at the foot of his statue in Brockenborings. The music will consist of songs, jigs, reels and whatever they will come up with.

Visitors are asked to heed to the tradition of "wearing of the green". Please, come dressed in your finest green outfit.

The Program of the evening will be as follows:

The times mentioned after 8pm are approximate, all depending on how epic the poem will turn out to be.

Hobbit bands/artists who would like to perform on the Open Stage, please contact Master Peppy Bristlebrush beforehand by mail, in order for him to make a schedule.

OOC details:

As Bullroarer Took Day coincides with St Patrick's day, expect a lot of people wearing green clothes and the music to be mostly Irish.

This is a hobbit preferred event, but other people are welcome, as long as they do not block the view of the hobbits.

Bands or soloists for the Afterparty Open Stage: we also prefer hobbits here, but if there is enough time, other people will be considered too.

We'd like to give each band/artist a minimum of 10 minutes on stage (in front of the fireplace in the Plough and Stars), so places are limited. The order in which applications arrive will be taken into account.

There is still room for more musicians, so do not hesitate to apply!

Please send your application by in-game mail to Peppy or through the Gazette's office: editors@brambleburygazette.com!

This moderated Open Stage will close around 10.30pm.
