Apple Tree Wassailing - Mon 14th

Post date: Jan 13, 2013 10:57:42 AM

The new year has come, New cycle begun. May your home be blessed, Your woes put to rest. May blossom your tree, Good cider we see.

The new year brings new beginnings, new hopes, and of course one hope close to our hearts is to have a plentiful harvest, and not least to have good cider to bring us through the cold of next winter. To help this along, the Brandy Badgers will go wassailing in the homestead of Oldfurlong, home to a good many apple trees and two local inns. We will sing to the trees lining Chalk Road as far as Master Mellams burrow, then make our way along Pleasant Street to Myrtle court. Once again we would be happy if you could join us and perhaps even bring a suitable tune along.

Where: Oldfurlong, at 1 Wending Way (Master Isenbert's burrow, next to the gate)

When: Monday, January 14th

Time: 8:00 pm GMT (3:00 pm /servertime)
