It probably won’t surprise anyone that the weather hasn’t stopped acting up in Lyndelby – while everywhere else is buried under the snow, it is warm and sunny there. But it also gives us an opportunity to take part in activities fit in summer days.
And what is one of the favourite hobbit activities when it is warm and lovely? Fishing, of course! For too long people have been asking for a fishing contest, and as a May Royal I felt obliged to deliver it!
So, on February 14, at seven bells ((7PM UK time)), we will meet in Lyndelby fishing docks (north west of the stable master), and will decide who is the best angler among the Hobbits!
Do not forget honing your fishing skills, as your points will be calculated based on the proficiency level of trophy-worthy fishes.
After the contest, however, we will find a cozy spot to fry our catches, while chatting, playing some songs, reciting a poem or two, and whatnot! Everyone is welcome to contribute to the entertainment.
((OOC: although one or two passersby are welcome to join, this event is strictly about Hobbits, so it would be better to join as one.
You can reach Lyndelby by travelling to the homesteads and walking down the path to the settlement. As long as you avoid the big wolf’s den in the northern side, it is quite safe to stroll around even as a low level character))
