Everybodee knows ya can't have a concert witout instruments...even an OAKS!

Papa and a couple of his buddies volunteered ta transport the carts wit all the instruments back to Oldfurlong fer the OAKS...

Well...

We all know Papa likes to have an ale or two... or four... or seven...

Seems the fellas helpin him got mighty thirsty too

And they all thought a little delay woodn't hurt nuthin.

While they were in the Ivy Bush a terrible storm came up outside.. winds fierce enuf to blow all the instruments inta the nearby stream.

Papa and his friends came out later and went lookin fer the cart.. which they found upside down by the stream.

All them musical treasures was scattered about... sum in the mud.. sum floatin DOWN the stream.

Papa and all his friends.. disregardin the fact they don't care fer water.. jumped in and tried to save em.. but.. alas

They couldnt save all and what they did save was waterlogged and full of mud...

And that's why there will be NO March OAKS
