Folk with deep boots, tri-corner hats, and the occasional eyepatch look to be gathering in the Shire around the middle of this month.

But before THAT, the Fed Poets will meet!

The Fed Poets' Society will meet September 10th at 7:30pm down by the Stock Stable Master for a short walk to the ferry dock in Buckland.

There we shall share a meal and our poems while enjoying a view of the Brandywine River.

The Theme this month is: PIRATES!

(Or as some would have it Pie-rates. Miss Pycella beware!).

Feel free to wear your best nautical attire!

The Literary Device we will try is: Narrative Verse. A poem that tells a story.

And no, it does not have to rhyme...but it can if you like!
