The wind blows down the Shire lands with a new chill to it. Leaves turn gold and then orange and red.
The harvest begins to be gathered and the scent of earth from finished fields mingles with gusting rainstorms. Autumn is here!
And the Fed Poets will gather October 8th at 7:30pm ((UK Time)) for out monthly meeting, in spite of cautionary tales about uncanny things that go bump in the night.
Join us in Overhill for a walk to some mysterious ruins to help us set the mood for this month's theme:
Theme: Spooky!
Type: Limerick
Typically used for comedic topics, let us challenge each other to write a spooky poem in this typically comedic style. Or, if inspiration eludes you, bring a spooky poem by one of your favouite authors!
Gather in Overhill, 7:30pm (UK Time), October 8th.
Hope to see you there!
