Ever since the Mayor launched Yule Festivities in the middle of summer, I have been thinking there should’ve been something better I could’ve done related to that. Had some ideas, but did not have enough opportunities to make them real.
However, after being elected as a royal, I noticed maybe this is the opportunity I needed. And that’s how I came up with the idea of Defying the Seasons event chain, where I throw a party with a different theme than the current season in my grandparents’ Lyndelby household.
This time we will be reminiscing the fun times from winter. And what is one of the most fun winter activities? Of course, snowball fights! So, all hobbits I know and don’t know, and those who are hobbits in heart are invited to Royal Snowball Fight of Midsummer in 1 Floodside Road, Talerthy, Lyndelby on July 12th (had to be rescheduled) at seven bells ((7 PM UK time)). We will throw some snowballs at each other, talk about some local gossips and distant winter memories, feast behind a large festivity table, and have fun. There will be some music too, and perhaps some poetry as well.
I hope to see all of you there.
With love,
Saelo Honeythumb
P.S: Don’t forget to wear warm clothes!
((OOC: this is a strict hobbit-related event. Although a wandering elf or dwarf is still welcome, it would be better to roll a hobbit character if you would like to take part. Due to family business, this event has been rescheduled from June 28th to July 12th))
