The Foreyule is well and truly here, and that’s good cause for celebration. Sunday December 7, we’ll have lots of hobbit fun! Write them songs, raise them trees!

Yule is near, and what better way to celebrate than meet yer fellow hobbits and greet the festive season welcome?
The Grand Order is happy ter invite all friends, both hobbits and other folks, over to our kin hall on Sunday December 7, for the annual Yule tree ceremony. We’ll put up our yule trees, have some mulled wine, and enjoy some yule music! Well met!

Earlier in the day, the May Queen’s monthly Year of Song meet takes place by the Three-Farthing Stone in Bywater. This month’s theme is: Yule-related, winter poems.
The Yule Festival arrives this month, and Nannie also often hosts a winter poem competition, so now’s a good time to get those poems ready. And if yer quick, yer might even write a poem to recite at the Yule tree ceremony later in the evening! Well met!
