The heat of this extended summer is at its height while farmers turn their thoughts to harvest, crisp nights and whispering winds.
A perfect time to escape the heat and visit a new local indoor attraction that has been in the works for several years!
This month's Fed Poets' Society meeting will be held September 18th at the Elderglen Aquarium and Science Burrow
at #2 Brookbank Street, in the Village of Elderglen, Shire Homesteads.
Come see the live specimens! (But please do not feed Bandoferd. He might mistake you for the snack!)
The Theme This Month: Timed with Our May Queen's workshop themes and Masters Hartten and Willie's
upcoming Show: Animals –especially dogs!
Poetry Type: Adynaton, which means “impractical,” or “impossible.” It is a form of exaggeration
magnified until completely unfeasible in order to emphasize something.
We will gather at the Homesteads Gate for a leisurely walk to the Aquarium and Science Burrow at
7:30pm (UK Time) to share a meal and some fine words. Bring your workshop project, or a poem by your
favourite author!
