Poem - Should I?

A poem to celebrate the wedding of Miss Yllisa and Master Loimos, about the day a lad makes the bold decision to declare his love for a lass!

Should I?

Choices will I face today

Decisions soon will come my way

Thinking, should I, all the while

So should I frown, or should I smile?

Should I snooze, or should I rise

And wipe the sleep from weary eyes?

Should I put on something smart

Or clothes that soon will fall apart?

Should I pour a cup of tea

And sweeten it, one lump or three?

Should I stay sat in my chair

Or should I take the morning air?

Should I walk amongst the trees

Or in the fields to feel the breeze?

Should I keep along the track

Or turn around and wander back?

Should I strike a steady pace

Or stride ahead as in a race?

Should I pause outside her gate

And worry if I should be late?

Should I knock upon her door

To knock one time, and then once more?

Should I greet her with a hug

Or shyly smile and give a shrug?

Should I stare into her eyes

Or turn to my gaze towards the sky?

Should I care the sky's not blue

And should I dare say...

..."I love you"?
