Poem - My son

By Peppy Bristlebrush

You kicked, you grew, you flourished

so safe in mother's womb.

but then through fate so cruel,

you lay now in a tomb.

I wish I could have known you

and sat you on my knee,

my son, my darling Peregrin,

my love eternally.
