Oh how I wish
I was a little fish
Relaxing in the lake
My little tail shakes
Make a splash
Make a splish
Little fish!
Oh how to stay
A-floating round all day
And sleeping in the stream
Where water fills my dreams
Take a dive
Make a wish!
Little fish!
O how to be
A fish so wild and free
The lake it stretches far
I'd swim beneath the stars
With a swoosh
And a swish!
Little fish!
O how I would
Just be a fish, I could!
No fisher would catch me
I'd be nobody's tea!
Dodge the line
Miss the dish
Little fish!
Oh how I wish
I was a little fish
To live within the lake
I wish for fishes sake
Make a splash
Make a splish
Little fish!
