Bards

Bards must be very smart

to write in rhyme;

They even always fart

in perfect time.

There was a bard named Dwale

Who wrote many a tale

of lowly hobbits and mighty kings

and lots of other things

even hobbits going on a journey

and some man in Bree named Bill Ferny.

But the thing I like best about Ronald Dwale

Was that he often mentioned food

and also ale

because drinks that are brewed

Never go stale,

And food that is stewed

and baked and broiled like coneys and quail

is good to eat,

and is hard to beat,

and reading and hearing about it

is great,

and better than doing without it,

although not as good as real food on my plate.
