Mellam Hollytoes a Hobbit of Oldfurlong

I am writing to thank all the gracious hobbits at the Green Dragon in Bywater for their wonderful support last Friday. When I announced that I was running for the deputy Shirriffs post in Oldfurlong, I was taken aback by congratulations I received.

With positive backing like this how can I not want to try my best for all of you in the coming months. If I can I will post a regular report to the Bramblebury Gazette of problems brought to me as Deputy Shirriff, if elected to the post.

So for now I will step up my campaign to become the Deputy Shirriff our great homestead of Oldfurlong deserves.
