Poem - Catch of the day

Catch of the day   by Bardoric Oatroot, illustrated by Lingard Gamebrush

A gentle wind, blows in my face ,
It makes fishing in springtime so
Jolly these days.
You never know what you will catch,
will it be a Rudd, a goldfish,
for this fishing match

Seeing other hobbits so happy,
and so cheerfully casting their lines.
Makes me happy too, so no worries on our Hobbit minds.

At least not for the greatest catch we all hope to get, if the fish
will not escape or pulls us in the water. I don’t want to get wet!

Another fish on my line.. this time a Dace,
but I rather have a Catfish,
that would Grand my first place!"
