Serve up the mulled wine! Raise the yule tree! Let us celebrate the start of yule together, then we’ll share work on the hobbit Yule drawing!

Date: Saturday December 17
Time: 7:30PM ((UK, 2:30PM servertime))
Location: Songburrow Hall, Songburrow, 4 Brookbank Street, Shire homesteads

Yule is near, and what better way to celebrate than meet yer fellow hobbits and greet the festive season welcome? The Grand Order is happy ter invite our friends over to our kin hall Saturday December 17. We’ll put up our yule tree, have some mulled wine and enjoy some yule music!

After the yule tree ceremony, we will continue to work on this year's hobbit yule drawing! So dress all festive and yule-like!

Welcome hobbits!

((OOC:

Once again, I’d like to make a yule video with as many hobbit players on Laurelin as possible. The video will be released near yule.
  • The first video shoot will be Sunday December 4 in Thorin’s Gate. Meet near the statue in Frerin’s Court.
  • The second is shoot is Saturday December 17, in Songburrow (4 Brookbank Street), as part of the Songburrow yule tree ceremony.
  • Also, I’d love it if yer hobbits sent me a screenshot of yourself in-game, in a festive/merry/yule motive. I can use those in the end credits of the video. Please use high-quality screenshots (1024×768 pixels is really the minimum, but larger is much better), and don’t add any effects or text to the image.
  • Send it to me before end of December 22nd, at the very latest! Use this email: [IMG]
For the videos, please remember:
  • Be prepared to follow orders!
  • For the Songburrow video shoot on the 17, bring "edible" pets (chickens, pigs or similar)
  • Wear warm, festive-looking clothes (red and green are very grand)
  • Bring lanterns or sparklers if you have them, also fireworks
  • Bring music instruments if you have them (so you can “play” during the video)
  • Try to avoid speaking in /say, use the raid (/ra) instead
  • Have fun! ))
