By Penina Pondhopper Where: Overhill, by the pondsThe Shire Angling Club is pleased to announce another fishing
contest! This is to be held in the lovely village of Overhill, north of
Hobbiton. We shall meet by the ponds at seven and a half bells (14:30
server time) on Saturday 15 November. All-comers are welcome, regardless
of fishing skill. Don't forget you need to have bought a rod and know
the fundamentals of fishing (see the hobby master by the lake in
Bywater). As usual there will be fine prizes in each category: beginners and advanced anglers. The
Shire Angling Club runs the Shire Museum of Hunting and Fishing at 5
Harrow Road, Bramblebury. This is one of the regular events we hold
throughout the year that is open to non-members. There is no need to
register; just sign up on the day. Penina Pondhopper What: Overhill Fishing Competition |
