Yule is near, and what better thing to do than to make a large drawing to greet yer friends a very merry yuletide? Not much! So here we go!

Date: Saturday December 6th
Time: Tentatively 7:30PM UK ((2:30PM servertime))
Location: Kauppa-Kohta, Forochel

Hopefully yer not afraid of spending some time in cold climates! And basking around in the snow a bit! Just bring lots of campfires, lights and even sparklers!

((OOC:

I’d like to make a yule video with as many hobbit players on Laurelin as possible. Hopefully yer are up for it! The video will be released near yule, most likely on December 24th.

The first video shoot will be Saturday December 6th. The second is likely to be Tuesday December 16th, but let me keep that one a bit open still.

The location of the shoot is Kauppa-Kohta, the southernmost village of Forochel, just on the border to Evendim. The easiest way there is to go through Evendim. However, if you are too low-level to get there on your own, just let me know, and we will get you there somehow!

Please remember:
  • The video is for hobbits only. Sorry, no men, elves or dwarves!
  • Wear warm, festive-looking clothes (red and green are very grand)
  • Bring lanterns or sparklers if you have them, also fireworks
  • Bring music instruments if you have them (so you can “play” during the video)
  • Try to avoid speaking in /say, use the raid (/ra) instead
  • Have fun!
In addition, I’d love it if you sent me a screenshot of yourself in-game, in a festive/merry/yule motive. I can use those in the end credits of the video. Please use high-quality screenshots (1024×768 pixels is really the minimum, but larger is better), and don’t add any effects or text to the image. Send it to me by email  before December 21st, at the very latest!

For inspiration, here is the Grand Order yule video from last year. This year, I’d love to have hobbits outside of the Order in the video too!))

Let us have some yuletide fun!
